Summer is festival season. During the sunny summer months, you can find a festival to celebrate any occasion, from holidays to live music to food to crafts. No matter what you love or what your hobby is, you can find a summer festival that’s perfect for you.
However, sometimes our hair doesn’t feel like celebrating with us. The following three hairstyles will keep your hair under control, and you can rock them at a summer festival.
Baseball Cap Braids
Most summer festivals are outside. While this allows us to enjoy the warmer weather, it’s easy to sunburn and overheat as well. Wearing a baseball cap protects the scalp and face from the sun. Headpieces are often larger than headbands and have multiple sections that go around your forehead, behind one ear, or down your part. Many come with floral, shell, or beaded accents that will add a boho or fairy flair to your beautiful curls.
Sparkly Space Buns
Buns will keep your hair off your neck so you can enjoy the festivities all day and all night long. Elevate two side buns into sparkly space buns with pearlescent pigment powder. You can learn all about the production of pearlescent pigments if you want to check the ingredients in your hair care products, but most are clean and safe. They’ll add beautiful shimmer and shine to your hair for the entire festival.
You can rock these three hairstyles at a summer festival or for any other outdoor summer event. Braids and buns will help keep your hair off your neck. Headpieces or smaller headbands can help keep your hair off your face.
