wispy haircuts

A Line Wispy Layered Haircut – Because having a fine or thin hair can be so disappointing, Radona prefers the A Line wispy layered cut to add layers and give the hair more volume. When it comes to fine hair hairstyles, the smooth and soft wispy layers can be a girl’s best friend. Know that thin hair is not a curse because it looks very appealing given the appropriate cut.

To create depth and visual thickness, Radona starts cutting at the back of the head as her guide. From the ends of the hair, she cuts the hair and create the soft wispy layers on the top of the head and then slowly move to the sides.

Point cutting the ends of the hair is one technique she uses to texturize the hair as well as allow layers or graduation to blend seamlessly.  However, you should keep in mind that the hair’s thickness and texture largely depend whether the point cutting technique is performed in a wet or dry hair. Radona fails to tell us that part of the story!

The goal of point cutting is to texturize the ends of the hair and not just to remove the length. The angle and position of the scissors control the amount of hair being taken out with each cut. That is why Radona teaches us to angle it at leas 90 degrees of perpendicular to the head.

Radona point cuts the hair section by section until the level of texture and length desired is achieved. This is notably time consuming because she works with small sections slowly and it seems that this is the only way to get the exact haircut she wants.

To add dimension, Radona uses the wispy layers so they look thick and choppy. On the other hand, choosing a longer length may not be able to fight the effects of gravity. Make everything looks more thin or flat.

The layers not only add volume, but they can help create different styles and looks. You’ll get away with the gravity look wearing shorter hairstyles. This one is a great hairstyle to show off fine hair.

The result is a trendy feel that looks appealing and her thin hair is nowhere near it. I cannot even tell if the lady has thin hair. It is a delicate but perfect cut for her. Great work Radona!

Women over 50 with fine hair may want to try a wispy layered hairstyle for added weight and volume. Her baby blonde lights also give the illusion of volume. Obviously, the messy teased top is one of Radona’s best kept techniques to prevent the hair from lying flat.

To frame the face, Radona levels the bangs to the cheekbone. Note that the lady has a round face shape. The shorter layers on the top of the head also provide the illusion of volume.

A Line Wispy Layered Haircut Spray

Why use a hairspray before styling the hair? Here is the unknown truth. It not only gives the finishing touch but it also preps the strands before styling. Using a lightweight hair spray prevents the backcombed hair from drooping and also helps boost volume.

The spray is one of the most popular hair styling products used by men and women anywhere in the globe. Applied in a wet or dry hair, the spray holds the particular look in place.

Hairspray is truly a common sight and the most popular hair product for styling. Nowadays, the hair spray formula is more flexible and can be bought in different strengths and varieties. It provides a light hold, but without the feeling or looking it is as solid as a rock. Unlike the old formula, the new products create a more distinctive finish.

Big round brush

Radona uses the big round brush to create volume. You use the brush before the backcombing. Here is a round brush guide:

  • 1 inch for a pixie cut
  • 1 ¼ inches to 1 ½ inch for 2” to chin length
  • 1 ¾ inches for a chin to chest hair length
  • 2 inches for chest and longer length

Radona has a better zoom in technique with this video. She is improving her zoom in and out. I hope it would be perfect soon. The angle and the zoom in and out timing are perfect now.

I am wondering what happens to the product introduction photos at the end of the video with the before and after photos of the customer. Should have before and after photos for each video so the audience may better appreciate the cut and the styling. I am highlighting the importance of really seeing and understanding the transformation. The audience must see the transformation simply looking at the before and after photos and hopefully they will get an idea which style is good for their fine hair.

Hair products should be displayed at the end of each video. Making use of the photos and short description is not implemented yet. There are platforms where you can create a video with a clickable link inside the video itself that leads to the page of the product you are selling. Try this technique. It is great for selling anything.

The video is somehow back to becoming a chit chat video again. Should have the introduction at the beginning of the video and the tutorial proper after the introduction.

As we all are aware, videos have become one of the most important mediums in use today for communicating instructions. This means that teaching should be all about teaching what people need to know and not having a chit chat.

Because it is a tutorial video, Radona should avoid using jargon or other informal communication so people would be encouraged to view it. Besides, one goal of creating tutorial videos is sharing and letting people use the video for teaching other people. How can they share the video when it is not yet appropriate for teaching others?

If you want to teach someone to do something, you might want to stop the habit of informal talk and start making a real tutorial video that people would want to share in any hair styling sessions or events.

Radona should describe the processes involved in a good natural sequence to make it easier to remember and comprehend. The idea is to demonstrate how to execute the process. The audience are not interested listening to the chit chat.
